Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility for both you and our clients. You'll engage with clients through telehealth platforms, leveraging modern technology to create a supportive therapeutic environment. Our work setting aims to enhance work-life balance, enabling you to practice comfortably and efficiently. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can maintain your professional commitments while enjoying personal time.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to analyze the symptoms and challenges clients experience related to mood disorders, gathering information on the severity, frequency, and duration of these symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored treatment plans, ensuring that these strategies are targeted toward their individual goals, preferences, and needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies, empowering them with knowledge and understanding.

• Continuously monitor the progress of clients throughout their treatment journey, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to design and implement integrated treatment strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health, particularly regarding treatment for mood disorders, to enhance your practice.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings and case consultations to continuously improve clinical competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients grappling with mood disorders, which can include a spectrum of issues such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. By delivering targeted interventions, you will play a critical role in helping clients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proven expertise in implementing evidence-based treatments for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with medical professionals.

• A demonstrated history of achieving successful outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.

• Excellent communication abilities and a knack for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
