Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that foster connections among clients, helping them share experiences and support one another.

• Providing empathetic individual therapy, assisting clients in understanding their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations, focusing on goal-oriented outcomes.

• Monitoring progress through the effective use of assessment tools and client feedback to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care, ensuring thorough communication and collaboration on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom are navigating significant transitions and mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), employing evidence-based and holistic approaches tailored to each client’s specific journey.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. A valid LPC license for the state of Tennessee is required. Candidates should exhibit strong empathetic communication skills, in-depth knowledge of therapeutic techniques, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of youth and young adults.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a mental health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and methodologies will also be an asset, as is a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development through continuous education and supervision.

Compensation and Benefits\n
