Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one individual therapy sessions, applying therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Engage actively in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team meetings to address patient progress and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Document patient encounters effectively, ensuring that progress notes are thorough, legible, and completed by the end of each shift.
\n
• Monitor patient behavior and communicate any significant changes to the healthcare team to ensure timely adjustments in treatment.
\n
• Provide education to patients and their families, orienting them about treatment protocols and supporting their involvement in care.
\n
• Demonstrate crisis management skills by assessing and intervening effectively during patient emergencies.
\n
• Advocate for patients by identifying and referring appropriate services and resources to enhance their treatment experience.
\n
• Utilize electronic health record systems proficiently to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families, all with distinct challenges and backgrounds. Providing marriage and family therapy services, you will address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and other mental health concerns. This variety allows you to employ a range of therapeutic approaches, enriching your clinical experience and enhancing patient care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California is required.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health settings.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to create treatment plans and interventions based on DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic alliances.
\n
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
\n
• Flexibility in managing changing treatment schedules and client care needs.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance care coordination.

• Experience in delivering therapy within diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
