Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, utilizing interviews, direct observations, and analysis of medical histories to discern emotional, social, and environmental factors that may impact students' recovery and daily functioning.

• Offer individualized counseling and support to students and their families, addressing specific adjustment issues, emotional distress, and coping strategies, thus fostering resilience and emotional wellness.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to craft tailored treatment plans, ensuring that each student's unique psychosocial needs are effectively integrated into their overall rehabilitation goals.

• Assist students in navigating and accessing valuable community resources, such as support networks, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance, thereby boosting their community integration.

• Provide education and guidance to both students and their families regarding pivotal community resources and post-rehabilitation services that could significantly aid their transition back into everyday life.

• Actively participate in discharge planning, facilitating smooth transitions from rehabilitation to home or other supportive care settings, ensuring continuity of care.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged individuals who may be facing a range of emotional and social challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
