The role of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be carried out in a flexible remote setting, allowing for a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions and facilitate group therapy, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

• Adhere to organizational policies and established Mental Health and Substance Abuse Standards, always within the scope of practice.

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ family systems, workplace environments, and daily living routines to identify specific areas requiring intervention or additional support.

• Develop a comprehensive care plan from initial assessments, targeting individualized goals that promote positive outcomes in collaboration with both patients and caregivers.

• Regularly evaluate patients' evolving needs, modifying care strategies as necessary while ensuring ongoing dialogue and collaboration with family members.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, including crisis counseling and resources for coping with grief and loss for individuals, families, and groups.

• Set specific, measurable goals for treatment; consistently track progress and adjust interventions accordingly to foster ongoing development and resilience.

• Demonstrate sensitivity and a thorough understanding of the psychosocial needs of patients and their families, providing culturally competent care that respects diverse backgrounds.

This role primarily focuses on patients receiving hospice care, who may be grappling with complex emotional responses related to terminal illnesses. You will work closely with diverse populations, including families from various cultural backgrounds, to ensure equitable access to mental health resources and support systems, while navigating the challenging emotional landscape that accompanies end-of-life care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

• Current social work licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining clear communication with team members and clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
