Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office, ensuring a structured yet dynamic clinical setting where you will interact with a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical examinations of pediatric patients to determine health status and identify any acute or chronic health issues.
• Document detailed medical histories and care plans in electronic health records, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with a supervising physician, engaging in discussions to propose medical interventions and follow through on physician directives.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for parents and caregivers, providing education on treatment plans, preventive care, and health maintenance specific to pediatric populations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to address complex cases and enhance team-based care approaches.
• Guide and mentor nursing students and new healthcare staff, contributing to their professional development and integration into our clinical culture.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards and participate in the creation and revision of clinical policies and procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At the Pedi Bloom Potential Center, our primary focus is on children from infancy through adolescence. You will be responsible for treating a diverse patient cohort, including those with common pediatric illnesses, developmental disorders, and chronic health conditions. Understanding the unique needs and anxieties of both patients and their families is crucial as you work to create supportive, individualized care plans that encompass both physical and emotional health.

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Completion of a Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner coursework.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a pediatric outpatient clinic or family practice setting, with a strong preference for experience in acute care.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) and a valid DEA registration.
• Certification in EPIC or willingness to obtain certification for our electronic health record system.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in managing a diverse pediatric population, particularly with chronic health conditions.
• Familiarity with community pediatric resources for referrals and patient support.
• Participation in research or clinical trials related to pediatric health outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 131,000 – 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
