Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, developing a solid foundation for therapy and treatment planning.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for clients and their families based on identified mental health needs, tailoring interventions to support diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Complete necessary billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms accurately and in a timely manner to ensure seamless operations.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness initiatives to support clients' stable functioning and overall well-being.

• Create an effective discharge plan for clients transitioning out of therapy, facilitating a smooth process for ongoing well-being.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as Forest Hill Health Care policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including training and continuing education, to maintain and elevate your professional skills.
\n
• Participate actively in agency meetings and case consultations to contribute to a culture of shared knowledge and collaborative practice.
\n
• Ensure all licensure requirements and mandatory training are completed, staying up-to-date with professional practices and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This diversity requires a flexible and adaptive therapeutic approach, recognizing and honoring each client's unique cultural background and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Required: A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Licensure: Active License as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred to ensure readiness for the demands of this role.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing processes is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
