Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse groups, couples, and individuals, demonstrating efficacy through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients, leveraging collective expertise to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while respecting client confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Riverdale, you will interact with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be experiencing mental health issues due to trauma, substance misuse, relationship difficulties, or other life challenges. Your role is pivotal in providing these individuals with the tools they need to overcome obstacles and thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a non-judgmental, empathic approach to treatment.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software and other relevant tools for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

• Experience working in a remote counseling role is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a yearly salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
