Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary duties will include:

• Conducting virtual counseling sessions via video chat, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their mental health concerns.

• Implementing ongoing assessments to monitor client progress and dynamically adjust personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Teaching clients effective coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and improved communication skills essential for managing their day-to-day challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with low-acuity adults who are navigating various life challenges. This includes individuals who may be coping with anxiety, depression, stress management, and relational issues. Your focus will be on promoting resilience and equipping your clients with the skills necessary for effective self-management and improved coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A current, active state licensure in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Independent licensure allowing you to practice without supervision.
\n
• No history of disciplinary actions against your license.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with proficiency in using digital platforms for therapy sessions.

• A robust, stable internet connection for seamless communication with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in a community health setting, having worked with diverse populations and familiar with telehealth practices. Knowledge in specific therapeutic modalities is also a plus, as it can enhance the counseling experience and client outcomes.
