Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients through secure video chat platforms.

• Encouraging clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

• Assisting clients in establishing realistic therapeutic goals and providing the strategies necessary to achieve them.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily involve working with stable adults who have low acuity issues, ensuring you engage with clients ready for growth. All clients are thoroughly screened to confirm their suitability for teletherapy, which allows you to build trusting and productive therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
\n
• A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred. An ideal candidate will also demonstrate a proven success in treating mood disorders, with insights into psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
