Location: Santa Monica, CA Pay: $23-$26/hour (DOE) Schedule: Fully Onsite Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Overview: A growing company in Santa Monica is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Administrative Clerk to support daily accounting and office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Overview: A growing company in Santa Monica is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Administrative Clerk to support daily accounting and office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
- Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and vendor payments
- Maintain and update vendor records in the system
- Perform basic reconciliations and support month-end close
- Handle filing, scanning, and document organization
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones and managing correspondence
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- 1+ year of accounts payable or related experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems is a plus
- Ability to work fully onsite in Santa Monica
