Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of day-to-day responsibilities designed to promote positive outcomes for your clients. Your strategic contributions will include:

• Providing comprehensive psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, adapting therapeutic techniques to best meet the unique needs of each client.

• Furnishing weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students, guiding them through their clinical licensure requirements while offering constructive feedback on their progress.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals and community resources to create holistic and effective treatment plans for clients.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, monitoring each client’s progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Keeping precise, up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Continuing professional development by engaging with current research, attending workshops, and integrating best practices into therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your engagement will primarily focus on diverse clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other psychological concerns. The center embraces a holistic approach to mental health, integrating techniques that emphasize resilience and self-discovery while acknowledging each client's unique background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Professional liability insurance to ensure comprehensive risk management.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or psychotherapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
