Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients suffering from orthopedic injuries, including assessments of strength, mobility, flexibility, and pain levels.
• Develop customized treatment plans that are evidence-based and designed to facilitate recovery, improve function, and enhance patients' overall health and well-being.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Consistently monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide education to patients on rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention strategies, and establish home exercise programs that promote ongoing wellness.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals, to ensure continuity and quality of care for our patients.
• Foster an atmosphere that prioritizes patient satisfaction, encouraging feedback and promoting patient engagement throughout the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating individuals with orthopedic conditions and injuries, ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain syndromes. Our patient demographic includes young athletes, active adults, and seniors who seek to regain their functional abilities or improve their quality of life. As part of your role, you will support underserved community members, ensuring they have access to high-quality rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with demonstrated skills in assessment and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a healthcare team effectively.
• A commitment to continuous learning and implementing best practices within therapeutic paradigms.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes an annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
