Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions under the guidance of nursing staff, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of each patient.

• Regularly observe and document patient behaviors and responses to treatment, contributing to ongoing evaluations of their progress.

• Facilitate the orientation of new patients and their families, easing their transition and providing crucial information about available resources and services.

• Assist patients with personal needs as indicated, fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing and growth.

• Prepare progress notes in alignment with departmental standards, reflecting each patient’s journey towards their treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• An active state-approved license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is essential; provisional licenses will not be accepted.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health or clinical setting, providing a solid foundation for delivering effective therapy.

• Proven ability to make professional evaluations and recommendations for treatment, demonstrating critical thinking and decision-making skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic nature, allowing you to connect with patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
