Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient clinic, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and an inviting atmosphere conducive to healing and rehabilitation. Our standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and comprehensive care tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions using clinical assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to enhance mobility and strength.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives the necessary attention, support, and time for effective therapy.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including hands-on manipulation, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the importance of non-surgical interventions while emphasizing lifestyle changes that promote healing.
• Regularly assess and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver coordinated care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
• Document all therapy sessions and maintain accurate electronic health records using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to comply with regulatory standards.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging atmosphere, guiding patients through their rehabilitation processes and celebrating their progress.
• Promote wellness through educational workshops and community outreach activities that align with the organization's mission to enhance public health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our clinic aims to empower clients through personalized rehabilitation programs that focus on both physical and emotional recovery. Team members are encouraged to develop strong relationships with patients, understanding their individual challenges and motivations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a current Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
• Professional mastery of various manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise regimens tailored for different patient profiles.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based physical therapy practices, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation of treatment methodologies.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, especially Web PT, for precise documentation and patient management.
• A passion for patient care, personal wellness, and the ongoing pursuit of professional development within the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Previous experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for a varied client base.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
