Work Environment\n

This is a fully remote position, allowing flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. You will function under the guidance of our Assistant Director, who will provide mentoring and expertise throughout your practice. In addition, you will conduct collaborative consultations with fellow practitioners, enhancing your practice skills while ensuring comprehensive and well-rounded care for your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients to assess their individual needs, preferences, and goals for mental health improvement.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized care plans that consider clients’ education, abilities, and aspirations, adjusting these plans as necessary to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare specialists to optimize client rehabilitation and support strategies.
\n
• Maintain detailed and organized case files that include personal data, eligibility, service records, and documentation of client interactions and progress.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress toward their goals and modify care plans when needed, ensuring they remain personalized and actionable.
\n
• Communicate with clients throughout their participation in job training and placement programs, addressing any challenges as they arise to facilitate successful integration into the workforce.
\n
• Engage with families and support networks of clients to enhance overall care and meet identified needs efficiently.
\n
• Analyze client assessments and write timely, comprehensive reports to facilitate ongoing care and support services.
\n
• Provide recommendations and referrals to additional resources as required, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals dealing with various mental health and mood disorders. Your role will be crucial in understanding their unique challenges and developing strategic approaches to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. This involves not only therapeutic interventions but also life skills training and support in achieving employment and personal stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A strong foundation in mental health treatment with experience in both residential and outpatient settings.

• A collaborative and positive demeanor, demonstrating passion and commitment to facilitating meaningful change in clients' lives.

• Proficient in clinical skills, including but not limited to motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and accurate documentation practices.

• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying age groups, including adolescents and adults.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling practices.

• Ability to maintain effective client relationships in a remote counseling setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
\n
