Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in effective communication with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide updates on patient progress, needs, concerns, and interventions.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with established department policies and compliance standards.

• Deliver crisis intervention and therapeutic counseling to clients, conducting thorough assessments of emotional and behavioral issues to develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Assist in discharge planning and care coordination, collaborating with various local service providers to ensure clients have access to essential post-treatment services.

• Consult with family members and social support systems to provide guidance throughout the treatment and discharge processes, ensuring a comprehensive support network for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with clients facing substance use issues, alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent designation.

• Approximately 2 years of full-time experience providing mental health services, including addiction treatment or crisis counseling.

• Exceptional organizational skills, allowing for self-directed work in a virtual setting while managing multiple client cases efficiently.

• Strong proficiency in using computer systems, particularly with MS Office, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health service delivery is required, candidates with additional certifications in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or advanced clinical techniques will be viewed favorably.
