Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments through virtual consultations, meticulously documenting all findings from the first interaction through to completion of therapy.

• Evaluate clients' overall mental, emotional, and behavioral health, using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the goals and needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to facilitate discussion, reflection, and healing.
\n
• Track and document client progress regularly, adapting intervention strategies as necessary based on therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Follow up with medical professionals regarding clients who may require additional support, facilitating smooth transitions and ongoing care.

• Identify challenges that may impede recovery and develop strategies to mitigate these obstacles, including providing guidance to family members and primary caregivers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, among other mental health challenges. By utilizing a telehealth format, we are able to reach clients across various demographics, including those in underserved areas who may have limited access to in-person services. Your role will be crucial in building trust and rapport with clients from all walks of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client interaction in a virtual setting.
\n
• Exceptional empathy, active listening skills, and an understanding of cultural competence in delivering mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in both individual and group settings, preferably in a telehealth environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Experience with co-occurring disorders and an understanding of how physical health conditions may impact mental well-being.

• Knowledge of the best practices set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to ensure effective therapeutic practices.

• Understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects, facilitating informed discussions with clients and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
