Work Environment\n

This position is remote, granting you the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home. While you will primarily engage with clients virtually, our outpatient office in Clarksville serves as a supportive hub for collaboration with colleagues and the occasional in-person meetings or training sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify treatment needs.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma.

  • Maintain regular client interactions through one-on-one therapy sessions, adjusting therapeutic techniques as needed to promote progress.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive client care and feedback.

  • Document client interactions and treatment plans in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations and clinic policies.

  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing strong de-escalation skills to support clients in distress.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest mental health trends and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health issues. You will support clients facing challenges related to substance abuse, mood disorders, and eating disorders, using a culturally responsive framework to guide your practice. Qualifications\n

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A valid and current license as either an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
  • \n
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and culturally competent practices.
  • \n
  • Expertise in providing individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing inclusive approaches tailored to the client’s background.

  • Proven crisis-intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients from diverse communities.
  • \n
  • Proficient in EHR systems and comfortable with digital tools for telehealth services.

  • Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a holistic treatment environment.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience with trauma-informed care practices and techniques.

  • Training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
