Work Environment

As an onsite member of the Boost Therapy Center team, you will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a structured but flexible environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to assess their functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs and progress.
• Documenting patient history, assessments, and treatment outcomes with precision, ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and proficiency in treatment protocols to enhance patient outcomes and ensure an effective rehabilitation process.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to monitor patient progress and make necessary modifications to treatment plans.
• Facilitating discharge planning and providing instructions for follow-up care to ensure continued improvement post-therapy.
• Participating in team meetings and initiatives focusing on lowering barriers to access healthcare services for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapist will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic issues, sports-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. By fostering strong relationships with our patients and their families, you will help guide them through their recovery journey with empathy and expertise.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience required is two years, candidates with advanced training in specialized treatment methods, such as manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or dry needling, will be highly regarded. Experience within a team-oriented setting that emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration is also a plus.
