The Sanctuary Foster Care Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, such as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic approaches based on the unique needs of clients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate and appropriate support.

• Engage in community outreach efforts, participating in educational initiatives to raise mental health awareness and reduce stigma within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at The Sanctuary, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges stemming from trauma, family dynamics, socioeconomic stressors, and more. Your role will be instrumental in providing support to clients from varying cultural and ethnic backgrounds, enhancing their mental wellness while respecting their unique narratives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid independent license in the state of Massachusetts as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD.

• A master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or an equivalent field.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic relationships and establish rapport with clients.

• Cultural competence, exhibiting sensitivity and understanding towards clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely and accurate documentation of client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy modalities.

• Experience in crisis intervention and working with children and families in foster care systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
