Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to address specific mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and resources to clients in distress, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

• Document client interactions and progress meticulously in our electronic medical records system, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive, holistic care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our client population.

• Stay updated with emerging trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in community health settings, although this is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 52,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
