Work Environment\n

The role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients across Illinois. As part of a forward-thinking practice, you will deliver care using secure online platforms designed specifically for therapeutic environments. The practice operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews to identify patients' specific needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client goals using evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate psychoeducational or support groups via telehealth platforms to foster community connections and address prevalent mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring a coordinated and patient-centered approach to care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering emotional support and appropriate referrals as needed.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality in patient care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and take part in ongoing professional development opportunities within the organization.

• Stay informed about recent research and breakthroughs in mental health, incorporating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to adults, each coping with various mental health issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses, allowing you to apply your skills in a wide array of therapeutic scenarios. Your role is crucial in providing compassionate, effective care that empowers clients to navigate their mental health journeys successfully.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans based on client needs.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.

• Ability to thrive in a remote team environment while maintaining professional boundaries and ethics.
