Work Environment

Your work setting will be within the community – specifically in patients' homes, allowing for a flexible and patient-centered approach to therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their home environments to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs post-injury, surgery, or due to chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that may incorporate exercises, manual therapies, and rehabilitation techniques to maximize patient recovery and mobility.
• Utilize various tools and modalities effectively, including therapeutic equipment, to alleviate pain and support rehabilitation efforts.
• Document treatment progress meticulously, ensuring accurate tracking of patient responses to therapy and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Provide clear communication and guidance to patients and their families on treatment goals and strategies, and educate them on proper usage of assistive devices when needed.
• Engage in regular professional development, attending workshops, and participating in community events and education sessions to enhance clinical expertise and stay current with therapy advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a wide range of patients, including children recovering from injury, adults managing chronic diseases, and seniors in need of mobility support. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, along with a valid license to practice in the State of Florida.

• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and treatment plans, along with proficiency in utilizing technology for documentation and patient care management.
• Must possess a commitment to continuing education and professional growth.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy, particularly in a home health setting, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with diverse patient populations is highly valued, allowing for a more comprehensive approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
