Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and identify their specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and skill-building.

• Maintain regular contact with clients through virtual sessions, adapting therapeutic strategies as needed to foster progress towards their mental health goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, providing referrals to additional services such as psychiatry or substance abuse treatment when necessary.

• Document client progress accurately in the EHR system, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to effectively manage situations that may arise during therapy sessions, ensuring client safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. You will provide support to individuals from various cultural backgrounds, and your ability to practice cultural humility will be crucial in understanding their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree or a Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• At least four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrated understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

• Proven ability to deliver culturally responsive individual and group therapy.
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other digital applications relevant to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Guiding Light Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
