This remote position allows you to provide therapeutic services in the comfort of clients' homes or at our outpatient office located in Tampa, Florida. The outpatient office in Tampa serves as a hub for conducting therapy sessions and attending team meetings. Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual in-home therapy sessions or group therapy at our outpatient office, tailored to meet the specific needs of each child and family.

• Implement therapeutic interventions focusing on social skills, anger management, and coping strategies to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behaviors and physical aggression.

• Collaborate actively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, sharing insights and recommendations to support comprehensive case management.
\n
• Document all aspects of client interactions, including intake sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with established timelines and protocols.
\n
• Participate in monthly meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, fostering a team atmosphere dedicated to client success.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes a profound commitment to serving children aged 3-20 who face developmental and intellectual challenges. You will work closely with primary caregivers, enlightening them on effective strategies for managing behavioral issues and nurturing positive family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours—typically from 4 PM to 7 PM—along with some flexibility on weekends.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with children and families, while advocating for their best interests.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support for children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
\n
• Previous work with children and adolescents, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for commuting to clients' homes and other locations as needed.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
