Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to gauge children's developmental needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) for children with disabilities and delays, ensuring alignment with best practices.

• Monitor and assess outcomes collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, adapting interventions to drive success for each child.

• Provide targeted support to families by equipping them with resources, skills, and strategies to enhance their child's development.

• Utilize principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices in delivering services, ensuring methods are individualized and grounded in evidence-based practices.

• Foster a nurturing rapport with children and their families, promoting a positive and trusting relationship to facilitate effective learning.

• Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations governing social work practices and family support services.
\n
• Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching strategies to deliver engaging and applicable learning experiences for families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services primarily focus on children aged 0-3 years with diagnosed disabilities or developmental delays. As an LCSW at Pacific Behavioral Health, you will directly contribute to shaping positive outcomes for this vulnerable population, assisting them as they navigate early milestones in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication development. You will work closely with families, offering guidance and support tailored to individual needs, ultimately fostering a healthy learning environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license to facilitate travel to family homes, as necessary.
