Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Psychosocial Assessments: Complete thorough evaluations in a timely manner, utilizing knowledge of human behavior and psychosocial factors. Ensure ethical standards are maintained while assessing risk-related issues.

• Clinical Interventions: Provide supportive counseling to students and families as well as link them to community resources. Facilitate family conferences to aid decision-making processes and partner with case managers on planning for discharge or transition.

• Caseload Management: Effectively manage clinical caseloads, identifying high-risk situations and balancing referrals with ongoing patient care. Seek guidance from colleagues when necessary to ensure optimal support.

• Legal and Ethical Standards: Uphold legal and ethical standards in all assessments and interventions, addressing issues such as suspected abuse, patient rights, and conservatorships in accordance with Tenet Policies.

• Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of assessments, care plans, and client interactions in alignment with policy requirements, including Social Services Progress Notes and interdepartmental communications.

• In-Service Training: Conduct educational sessions for hospital staff, addressing psychosocial issues and enhancing awareness of the social work role in patient care.

• Quality Improvement: Participate in monitoring and analyzing clinical processes to enhance care outcomes for patients.

• Other Duties: Engage in various departmental activities, including Social Work Month initiatives and support groups, contributing to the overall well-being of the school community.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 .
