Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, utilizing evidence-based tools to accurately identify their mental health needs and preferences.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices in the field, adapting therapeutic interventions as needed based on clients' progress.

• Deliver high-quality therapeutic services using a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and family therapy techniques.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, psychiatrists, and community resources, to provide coordinated and holistic care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and ongoing support for clients facing acute distress, employing your skills to de-escalate challenging situations and promote client safety.

• Engage in community outreach efforts, leading workshops and informational sessions that elevate the importance of mental health in everyday conversations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our community center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with clients facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Ensuring equitable access to care is vital, and your role will involve tailoring therapeutic approaches that resonate with clients’ specific cultural contexts and lived experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust and rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

• A strong cultural competence mindset to effectively engage with clients across diverse ethnic and socioeconomic groups.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently, ensuring prompt completion of documentation and follow-ups.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing therapy in a community mental health setting or outpatient clinic.

• Knowledge of local mental health resources and community services to facilitate client referrals.

• Experience in leading workshops or educational sessions on mental health topics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
