Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Safe Ground Behavioral Health, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and behavioral needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans.
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, focusing on effective communication strategies and conflict resolution skills.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans and coordinate care.
• Offering crisis intervention and support during urgent situations, assessing risks, and implementing appropriate strategies for immediate needs.
• Actively engaging with family members and support systems, integrating their input to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LMFT, you will work primarily with adult clients and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• At least two years of professional experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Proven ability to work independently and exhibit strong organizational skills to manage a caseload effectively.
• Proficient with technology, specifically familiarity with telehealth platforms and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a collaborative multi-disciplinary practice or those who have worked with diverse populations will be given preference. Additionally, familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
