Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a clear understanding of their unique situations.

• Provide individual and family therapy tailored to each client's needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Complete essential documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner to maintain efficient operations.

• Develop and implement personalized crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness strategies to support patients during challenging times.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for clients after their therapy concludes.
\n
• Adhere to current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, alongside Crossroads policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and high standards of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development through regular training and education to maintain and enhance your therapeutic competencies.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultation sessions and agency meetings to foster a collective goal of improving client outcomes.

• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements promptly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will encompass a wide range of patients from diverse backgrounds, contributing to their emotional and psychological well-being. You will address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma-related disorders. The ability to provide culturally sensitive care will be essential in effectively supporting our clients.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience in a telehealth environment and familiarity with digital health tools is highly beneficial. Candidates with a background in working with diverse populations or specializing in specific mental health conditions will be preferred.
