Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive assessments of new patients and families, identifying strengths and areas for growth.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, to maintain compliance and streamline workflow.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to support patients in maintaining stability and resilience.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans that prioritize ongoing care and resources for successful reintegration into the community.

• Adhere to all federal and state regulations as well as Genworth's policies, ensuring ethical and professional standards are upheld.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training programs and obtaining relevant certifications.

• Take part in case consultation and agency meetings to collaboratively enhance the quality of care delivered to patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient counseling, particularly in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms, is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n

Genworth Counseling Center offers competitive compensation ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with licensing and experience.
