Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from home while engaging with a compassionate and dynamic team. Our community health clinic operates virtually, allowing therapists to connect with patients effectively. You will use secure telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards. The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs and challenges faced by patients, tailoring treatment plans to meet their specific circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that provide community engagement and shared learning opportunities.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and coordinated care for our clients.

• Respond to crises with appropriate interventions to safeguard patient well-being and mental health.
\n
• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local resources that can assist their healing journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress and care in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in scheduled case consultations and team meetings to share insights, best practices, and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

• Remain informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults who present with varying mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. This role not only encompasses individual counseling but also family therapy sessions, thereby addressing the larger system within which individuals operate. Our approach emphasizes building supportive relationships with our clients, offering them a safe space to heal and grow.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective, personalized treatment strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

• Commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries, and utilizing sound judgment in all therapeutic interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to facilitate patient care and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
