Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Community Outreach Mental Care, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that meet client needs, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.

• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation that adheres to regulatory standards and evidence-based practices.

• Utilizing clinical screening tools as part of the treatment process and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Actively participating in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
\n
• Serving as a liaison amongst community partners, state agencies, and other service systems to facilitate coordinated care and support.
\n
• Building and maintaining effective communication channels to uphold contractual obligations and promote the organization’s mission within the local community.
\n
• Establishing connections with relevant agencies to enhance program visibility, develop partnerships, and seek funding opportunities for expanded services.
\n
• Engaging in professional development activities, including attending conferences, representing the agency at statewide meetings, and participating in ongoing training.

• Promoting the agency's values and philosophy through all interactions and treatment efforts.

• Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall operational excellence.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A valid, independent LMHC license issued by the state board.
