Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to meet each client's unique needs.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to support clients in acute mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, documenting assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to create comprehensive care plans for clients.

• Assist clients and their families in understanding mental health issues, exploring treatment options, and accessing community resources, thereby advocating for their rights and best interests.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops, staying current with mental health best practices relevant to our diverse client population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups who present with various mental health challenges. This role particularly focuses on clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Understanding the cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of our clients is essential for delivering effective and empathetic care, as we aim to create an inclusive space for all.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of Washington, including LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW credentials.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting involving direct client care.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of direct experience is required, previous experience in a community health setting is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques will be advantageous in this remote work environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
