The Nanox Psychological Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated and certified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to fill a full-time remote position. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward healing and personal growth in a supportive, remotely accessible environment.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible schedule. Our outpatient office is equipped with the necessary technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing expert mental health support. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorder symptoms, assessing their intensity, frequency, and duration to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting realistic goals that align with their preferences and needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to effectively address each client's unique challenges.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote their overall well-being.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes in accordance with best practices.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client's mental health.
• Stay informed about current research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapy techniques and improve client care.
• Maintain comprehensive and secure documentation of client progress and treatment in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to continuously refine your therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting awareness to reduce stigma and facilitating access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on individuals and families facing mental health challenges related to relationship dynamics, including those undergoing divorce. You will support a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults, in navigating their emotional experiences and developing healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• A high degree of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients' experiences, facilitating trust and openness in therapy sessions.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively balance client care and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically with clients undergoing transitional life events, particularly divorce, will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities beyond those listed, such as trans-generational or communication therapy, will be considered a plus.
• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
