Gotham Enterprises Ltd is in search of a dedicated full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Bristow, Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a vital partner in your patients' journey toward enhanced mobility and overall wellness. Located in Bristow, Virginia, Gotham Enterprises Ltd operates a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot rehabilitation center equipped with advanced sports medicine facilities. We take pride in delivering top-tier care to our patients, primarily utilizing private medical insurance carriers. Our organization emphasizes a collaborative atmosphere, where healthcare professionals work together to ensure the highest standards of personalized care.

Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite within our modern rehabilitation center, which is designed to foster a healing environment for patients. You will join a supportive team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), promoting an active sharing of knowledge and best practices. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals and specific needs, developing personalized care plans based on individual assessments.
• Administer treatments to 2-3 patients per hour, employing diverse modalities and therapeutic techniques aimed at restoring movement and improving functional performance.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize manual therapy skills and exercise prescriptions to help reduce dependency on medications and provide alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services and treatment outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, providing ongoing motivation and support for each individual's rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapist will focus primarily on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. You will engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals experiencing mobility issues due to chronic conditions or post-surgical recovery. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing their everyday functionality and promoting healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist License with no board or disciplinary actions against you.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and skilled in exercise prescription.
• Capability to use EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will find a significant advantage in this role. Proficiency in evidence-based practices and a successful track record in patient care will be critical for candidates looking to impact positively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
