Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver comprehensive patient care, including conducting evaluations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans in consultation with dermatologists.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, care procedures, and preventive measures.
• Perform cosmetic and dermatological procedures, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and delivery of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Attend mandatory in-service training and evaluations regularly to stay updated on best practices and innovations in dermatology.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be adept at providing dermatological care across a diverse patient population. You will be expected to tailor patient interactions based on individual needs, considering factors such as age, gender, and health status. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification (NP-C) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to meet any additional department-specific licensure requirements.
• Strong understanding of dermatological conditions and treatments obtained through formal education and practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in dermatology or related fields, demonstrating independent decision-making and leadership skills.
• Experience with cosmetic procedures including but not limited to injectables, laser therapy, and minor surgical techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
