Work Environment

This position is onsite at our facility, which is located in a vibrant part of Corpus Christi, allowing easy access to community resources and conveniences. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and administrative staff in a well-organized environment, equipped with updated technology and electronic medical systems. The daily operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, fostering an excellent work-life balance while ensuring significant patient engagement throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and meticulously gather patient medical histories to ensure comprehensive assessments.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to diagnose and develop treatment plans for various skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
• Perform minor surgical procedures, including suturing and biopsies, with precision and care, while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
• Educate patients on skincare practices and preventive measures to minimize the risk of skin diseases, empowering them to take control of their health.
• Prescribe necessary medications and manage ongoing treatment regimens as needed, tailoring plans to each patient’s unique healthcare journey.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to ensure accurate treatment progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant at Radiance Skin Dermatology, you will treat a diverse patient population spanning all ages. Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license with certification and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

• Willingness to engage in a structured training program conducted by the dermatologist, initially scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Preferred Experience

Though dermatology experience is strongly preferred, candidates with extensive experience in other medical specialties are encouraged to apply, as the desired skill set is transferable.
