Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with chronic pain issues, including taking detailed medical histories, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and accurately assessing pain levels using standardized assessment tools.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with our experienced team of physicians and specialists to formulate individualized pain management plans. You will incorporate a variety of treatment modalities such as pharmacotherapy, physical therapy, interventional pain procedures, and counseling services.
• Patient Education: Actively educate patients and their families about chronic pain conditions and treatment options. You will empower them with knowledge about pain management techniques, helping them actively participate in their care journeys.
• Procedural Assistance: Play an active role in the execution of procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, where you will ensure each patient is comfortable and safe throughout the process while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Follow-up Care: Monitor patient responses to treatments, adjusting plans as necessary based on their progress. You will provide ongoing support and counseling, ensuring patients feel heard and validated in their experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals who live with chronic pain stemming from various conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and neuropathic pain disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Texas.

Compensation and Benefits
