Work Environment

Our facility operates in an onsite surgical center specifically designed for dermatological procedures. As a full-time team member, you will work Monday through Friday during regular business hours, ensuring a balanced work-life harmony while contributing to our initiative to enhance patient health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations for a diverse patient demographic, including children and adults, to assess dermatological conditions effectively.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests, including skin biopsies and cultures, to aid in accurate diagnosis and patient management.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments, clinical guidelines, and best practices in dermatology.
• Perform various dermatological procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodessication & curettage (ED&C), with precision and skill to ensure positive outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and procedural notes in the electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Educate patients on skincare, treatment procedures, and preventive health measures, fostering a deeper understanding of their conditions.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and management plans.
• Provide follow-up care to assess treatment efficacy and modify plans as needed to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Participate in continuing medical education activities to stay current with advancements in dermatology and enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating a wide array of dermatological issues that affect patients of all ages, including common skin conditions, cosmetic concerns, and surgical procedures. You will play a critical role in delivering compassionate care to ensure that each patient feels valued and supported within their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with the necessary medical training.
• Demonstrated ability to perform medical and surgical dermatology procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience (minimum one year) in a medical dermatology setting, providing hands-on patient care and procedural skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation processes.
• Continued education in dermatology or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and productivity bonuses. In addition to a base salary, we provide:
