Key Responsibilities

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed patient histories and physical examinations to identify both normal and pathological findings.
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to assist in patient diagnoses.
• Developing comprehensive treatment plans, including both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical options, tailored to patient needs.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of treatment plans and making necessary adjustments based on patient progress.
• Conducting patient education sessions to inform patients and their families about dermatological conditions and suggested treatment options.
• Performing dermatological procedures under supervision and as per privileges established by the supervising physician.
• Documenting all findings and treatment plans accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Assisting in meeting payer performance measures and maintaining quality service delivery standards.
