Work Environment

The Dermatology Nurse Practitioner will work onsite at a local assisted living facility. Key Responsibilities

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies, to assess patient conditions accurately.
• Prescribe medications and devise effective treatment regimens, ensuring they align with evidence-based practices and patient needs.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding skin care, preventive practices, and appropriate disease management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as dermatologists, nurses, and physician assistants, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in electronic medical record systems, ensuring accurate tracking of assessments, treatments, and follow-up plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically focuses on serving elderly residents within an assisted living facility, many of whom may face unique dermatological challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on dermatology or an equivalent area of study.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in any state, with a preference for candidates licensed to practice in Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in Medical Dermatology, demonstrating knowledge of skin conditions and treatments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
