Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients, meticulously recording medical histories and symptoms to create comprehensive health assessments.

• Formulate effective patient care plans, tailoring treatment procedures for each child based on their specific health needs, conditions, and responses to previous treatments.
• Order and perform diagnostic tests, accurately interpreting results and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Consult with parents or guardians, providing education on managing child health concerns, injury prevention, and the importance of following through with healthcare recommendations.
• Diagnose a range of pediatric health issues from allergies to more complex conditions, ensuring that each patient receives appropriate and individualized care.
• Evaluate patients’ responsiveness to medications and treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to optimize health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily focus on the pediatric population, treating children from birth until they reach the age of 18. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or an equivalent qualification.
• An active and unrestricted Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license in the state of Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical role, specifically as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from USD 100 to USD 116, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
