This position allows for a flexible, remote work setting while being integral to our Hospice Center. You will have the opportunity to work from your home office while directly impacting individuals in a compassionate setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for patients, gathering personal histories, current challenges, and potential risk factors to inform effective treatment planning.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive counseling, to address a variety of mental health concerns encountered by patients in hospice care.

• Work closely with other mental health professionals, including doctors and nurses, to provide comprehensive care and ensure continuity of services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families. A fundamental aspect of your work will involve addressing the emotional complexities associated with end-of-life issues, ensuring that patients receive compassionate care tailored to their emotional and psychological needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a strong preference for experience within a mental health or hospice care setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
