Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, to address various mental health issues.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to promote healing and growth.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients and uphold high standards of treatment.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records, adhering to legal and ethical standards to support continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is required.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting, is necessary for this role.

• A strong understanding and commitment to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with individuals from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies to streamline documentation and patient data management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
