Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a significant impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher providing cross-categorical instructional programming for 4th grade learners. In this contract position, you’ll guide a diverse group of students at the elementary level, supporting their academic, behavioral, communication, and functional growth. Instruction is carefully tailored to grade-level standards while prioritizing each student’s IEP goals and unique educational needs.

Every day, you’ll foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment, implement a variety of teaching supports, and collaborate closely with program aides, 1:1 support staff, and related service professionals. This collaborative approach ensures your students receive the individualized attention and resources they deserve.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state
• Experience supporting students with a broad range of disabilities and learning needs
• Strong knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Proficiency with evidence-based strategies, including structured teaching, visual and sensory supports, and behavior management
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to promoting student independence, self-advocacy, and academic progress

• Deliver personalized instruction based on IEP goals and grade-level curriculum
• Incorporate visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to maximize engagement
• Implement behavioral and social-emotional intervention strategies
• Collaborate with aides and related services to monitor progress and adjust supports

• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in ongoing IEP meetings
