Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be performed remotely, allowing flexibility while serving our clients located in school settings throughout Jersey City, New Jersey. Our team utilizes virtual platforms for communication and collaboration, ensuring effective delivery of services while maintaining the highest standards of care. The role includes both individual and family interactions, offering a varied approach to out-of-home visits in accordance with program requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the individual needs of children and families, ensuring personalized care planning.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed to meet the evolving needs of the child.
\n
• Provide essential emotional and logistical support to families, educating them about enhancing child development and navigating available resources.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and follow Natural Learning Environment Practices to foster a conducive learning atmosphere.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations, ensuring compliance while delivering care.
\n
• Foster strong rapport with children, families, and professionals to support collaborative efforts in children's learning and development.
\n
• Implement ongoing child development strategies that align with families' priorities and concerns.
\n
• Continually engage in professional development to stay informed about the latest practices in social work and early intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on serving infants and toddlers who experience disabilities or developmental delays, often in school environments. The LCSW will work with children from infancy up to three years of age, addressing critical developmental domains including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Our focus is not only on the child but also on empowering families to be active participants in their child’s development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required, along with current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Valid driver's license as some direct service may require travel.
