Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessments to thoroughly understand each patient’s trauma history.

• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and recovery.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to create an engaging environment for emotional exploration and healing.
\n
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure continuity of treatment for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available when needed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and recovery.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations to stay current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma. Clients may present with complex needs that require specialized knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities. Your ability to empathize with their experiences and provide tailored interventions will be critical in fostering their healing processes.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and tracking treatment progress.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome candidates who can demonstrate their commitment to trauma-informed care through relevant internships, volunteer work, or specialty training. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
