The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and create individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities tailored to client needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards, to protect patient privacy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including other counselors, psychiatrists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care.

• Engage actively in clinical supervision, case consultations, and peer review discussions, contributing to continuous improvement in treatment quality.

• Provide educational resources to clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and community support services, enabling informed decision-making.

• Stay updated with the latest research developments in mental health to ensure evidence-based practice in therapy and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses a diverse group of individuals grappling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related conditions, and interpersonal relationship challenges. The counselor will play a crucial role in assisting clients from different backgrounds, adapting their approach to meet unique cultural and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advancement and specialization.

• Active and unrestricted license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.

• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic approaches, demonstrating adaptability to cater to each client's specific needs.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients and collaboration with colleagues.

• Strong analytical skills, effective problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to think critically when assessing client needs and treatment options.
